JUST FOR FUN

I categorize the following games as just for fun, because that it is what they are. These games can all be played pretty much anytime and anywhere, and with anyone that seems willing. They are perfectly innocent, and do not require a ticklephiles level of interest to enjoy them. These games are a good way to introduce someone to the fun of tickling in a lowkey and relaxed way, as they are simple and require no props. Also since these games are simply innocent fun, and require no bondage, or other so-called "kinky" stuff, those of you who are parents can feel comfortable teaching these games to, and playing them with, your children.

STILL

This is the simplest and most obvious tickling game of all. The simple challenge of trying to hold still while being tickled. This game is very easy to introduce in a social atmosphere, and if you propose it in a relaxed and fun way, I think you'll be surprised how many of your friends will be willing to accept the challenge.

Simply give a friend a quick tickle, and when they flinch or react in the standard way, reach for them again, and challenge them to see how long they can hold still and "take it". You'll be surprised at the willingness many people will have to play this little game. Once the person has assumed a vulnerable position (foot in your lap, stretched out with arms overhead, etc.), tickle gently and watch them try to take it. If you are good with a good natured verbal challenge you can often inspire some real tests of endurance. This game is fun at parties, since it's as fun to watch as to play. And if you think it's easy to do, have someone else try it out on you!

UNCLE

This game is a logical step up from Still, and is probably best played in a private or semi private setting with someone who has shown at least a passing interest in tickling. The game is based on the classic childhood word for i give up, "uncle". I played this game countless times as a kid, and it has translated well to adulthood.

The basic idea is that rather than attempting to hold still, which is diffucult, the person being tickled is free to squirm about a little, as long as they don't attempt to escape or grab the ticklers hands. They are then of course tickled continously until they decide to give up by yelling uncle. I've had several friends who were terrible at Still, but great at Uncle, since they could allow their bodies to react normally to the tickling and challnge themselves to withstand it as long as possible. This game is great fun.

ULTIMATE TICKLE FIGHTING

This game is obvious by it's title, and is great for those that love a good tickle fight. The rules are like those of ultimate fighting, except with tickling. The two combatants will attempt to tickle each other into submission, and the game continues until one gives up by "tapping out", that is slapping the floor twice as a signal that they give up. The only rules are that only tickling may be used, (no hair pulling, arm twisting, etc.) and that you may not grab your opponents hands or otherwise restrain their ability to tickle. Breaking of the rules can result in enforcement of a predetermined penalty, such as one minute in the tickling penaty box!

You'll be surprised what you can endure if you get yourself into the competitive spirit of this game, especially if side "wagers" are placed in advance.

LIFE RAFT

This is another silly game from my childhood, but it can still be great fun to play. The idea is to pick a predetermined area as a "Life Raft". A bed or couch work well. And then designate the floor around it as "shark infested waters". (I told you this game was goofy, but I invented it when I was 7.) The game may be played with 2 or more people, and the winner is the last person on the "Life Raft", the person who has tickled all of the others into the "water". I've also done this game on a diving board, attempting to tickle someone until they fell in the pool, you get the idea.

SERIOUS TICKLING GAMES

I entitled this section serious tickling games not because tickling should be taken so seriously, but because to play these games the participants will need to be "seriously" interested in tickling. Some can be played by couples, some are more group oriented party games, but all are seriously fun!

STOP AND GO

This game is a good way to introduce yourself and others to bondage and tickling, and is sort of a logical extension of the game Uncle. It can be played by a couple or in a group. The rules are simple, before being bound the person to be tickled will pick 2 safe words, one for a pause, and one to end the game. They are then bound and the tickling begins. The ticklee then can use the "pause" word at any time during the game and will be given a 10 second break from the tickling. (It's fun to do a countdown during these breaks, if you're playing in a group) After the break the game will continue. The ticklee may use their "pause" word up to 3 times during the game, but after the 3rd time the tickling will continue until the ticklee uses the "end" word to end the game. The length of each ticklee's session can be timed, if you wish to make it a contest. Of course the "end" word can be used at any time during this game to stop play all together.

This game is a good introduction to being bound and tickled, since it lets a person get a "feel" (pun intended) for being tickled while bound, gives them chances for a quick breather when necessary, and lets them test their endurance.

UNDER THE TABLE

This is a good couples game, for those who like to play in public places. Not really any rules to this one, just a few suggestions. This game is probably the ultimate self control test. Simply provide a ticklish body part to your partner, out of site of everyone else, and try to maintain your composure while they tickle away. If you are a skilled tickler who knows your partner well you can keep them on "the edge of their seat" for quite a while, while nobody around you will be the wiser. Marvelous tension! Or if you'd like another variation, try playing this game in a comedy club, where the ticklee can laugh all they want. The comedian will love you for it!

LUCK OF THE DRAW

This is a good game for an experienced couple, or group, who like an element of chance in their games. The game is played in 2 rounds, and the rules are as follows. First, four time limits must be established. For the sake of discussion we'll use 5 min, 10 min, 15 min, and 20 min. Then slips of paper are prepared for both rounds of the game, and placed in bowls or hats, or something else to draw from. For round one each time the time is increased the number of slips in the bowl should be cut in half. This gives the ticklee a satistical likelihood of a short sentence.

Example:

  • 5 min-16 slips
  • 10 min-8 slips
  • 15 min-4 slips
  • 20 min-2 slips

The ticklee will then draw from the round one bowl to receive their "sentence", the amount of time they are to be tickled. They will then give a safeword, and will be bound. The object of the game is for the tickler to get the ticklee to say their safeword within the allotted time, and for the ticklee to endure until the time is up. If the ticklee can endure then they win, and the game is over. (Or if you want real fun, if the ticklee wins then the tickler must take a turn!) If the tickler wins then it's off to round 2.

Round 2 is basically the penalty phase for the ticklee, and is played the same as round one, but with a couple of minor alterations. The first is that the ticklee must complete whatever sentence they draw, though rest breaks can be negotiated if you are feeling generous. And second, the odds of getting a longer sentence are reversed in the round 2 bowl!

Example:

  • 5 min-2slips
  • 10 min-4 slips
  • 15 min- 8 slips
  • 20 min-16 slips

  • I also like to give a further element of chance to round 2, and give the ticklee a little insentive to use their safeword, by adding 3 to 5 "pass" slips in the round 2 bowl, thereby giving the ticklee a small chance of escaping round 2 all together.

Of course time limits can be adjusted to the endurance and experience of the players, and other modifications made if necessary. For a further element of chance you can flip a coin to establish who will be the tickler and the ticklee. This game is fun for those who enjoy the nervous anticiption the element of chance brings in, and for those who like to compete and dare each other.

    THE GAUNTLET

This is the first of 3 group tickling games I've come up with so far, to be played at a tickle party. It's basically an excuse for a gang-tickle. The idea is for the ticklee to run the Gauntlet; a tunnel made up of ticklers on both sides of them. The ticklers should line up facing each other, like they are dancing the stroll, and then the ticklee will enter the tunnel at one end, and be continously tickled by all who can reach them without moving their feet, for as long as the ticklee can stand to remain in the tunnel. The results can be timed for contest purposes. The ticklee cannot be held, or retrained from moving about inside the tunnel, or escaping. They may just be tickled. Obviously the more people you can get for this game, the better.

    BATTLE OF THE SEXES

This game is based on a great tickle fight that almost happened, (one of the participants chickened out) and is designed to answer that age old question; who is tougher, men or women. This game can be played with or without bondage, (I actually prefer without) but requires at least 6 people to be played correctly. It is essentially a tickle race. One person of each gender is tickled by several members of the opposite gender (3 or 4 works best) simultaneously until one ticklee gives up. The ticklee who gives up loses, not only for themself, but for their gender. This game is best played in rounds, with everyone taking a turn, to truly establish the superior gender! The spirit of competition that this game can establish can make it very entertaining indeed.

If any of you out there play this game do me a favor, and email me the results. I'll try to keep track, and post the results here, so we'll all be kept updated on the continuing struggle for male vs. female tickling superiority.

    SCAVENGER HUNT

This is the largest and most complicated tickling game I've devised so far, and though I haven't tried it out yet, I'm hoping to get a chance to soon. Be warned this game is not for the faint of heart, and everyone who plays it should know beforehand what they are getting themselves into. But with people who are familiar with each other, and suitably adventurous, this game could be raucous fun!

The object of this game is the same as that of a regular scavenger hunt, to procure certain items and bring them to the games "judge". The game is played with 2 teams with an equal number of players (at least 3 or 4) and one person to act as the "judge", and organize the game. Males vs. females seems to be the most logical way to play. This game will require a fairly large, and preferably secluded setting, such as a private home, with several different play spaces available.

Before the game begins each team will select a room to be used as their team room. Then the judge will move privately about the rest of the rooms of the house selecting items to be hunted, 1 item for each player. The judge will then write down each item individually and place it in a sealed, numbered envelope. For example purposes lets say each team has 5 players. The judge will select 10 total items, and number their envelopes 1 thru 5 for each team. The twist to this game is that each teams scavenger hunt items are not given to them, but to the other team! (You see where I'm going?) Each team must then EXTRACT this information from the members of the other team. By means of tickle torture, of course.

The game will begin with all the players of both teams drawing their individual envelopes from a hat. Then each player will open their envelope and memorize the item it contains. The players who drew the #1 envelope for each team will then be taken to the other team's room where their interrogation will begin. Once a player, after being tickled by all the members of the other team simultaneously, "cracks" under the torture and reveals their scavenger hunt item, several things happen. First the "broken" victim is released to rejoin their team, and a member of the other team accompanies them to their team's room. When player 1 returns to their team, then player 2 must immediately accompany the other teams representative back to their teams room, and begin their "interrogation". Thus continues the game. The game is over when one team presents all their scavenger hunt items to the judge, the first team to accomplish this wins.

Individual teams should decide strategies during the course of the game, such as whether to send players to search for the items immediately upon discovering what they are, are to wait and use the strength of numbers for tickling, and then search at the end. But remember the game doesn't end when the last person "cracks", it only ends when you have presented all your items to the judge.

This game, IMO, is the ultimate in tickle competition and endurance testing games. If you could get enough adventurous people together to play it, it would really result in a wild frenetic house! An added element to the competition could be arranged by the teams mutually agreeing beforehand that the losing team would be punished in some way. (I'm sure you can think of a suitable punishment. LOL)

So those are the tickling games I've come up with so far, hope you like them. If anyone out there get's a chance to play any of these games, please do me a favor and drop me a line. I'd love to know how they turned out for you. Take care all, happy tickling!

    THE HAT THAT TICKLED

You decided how many are going to play but the best is when you play with more than 5 people. You get a big hat and small pieces of paper. You play this game just as if you were playing pictionary. You write on a small pice of paper what you think the person next to you can guess outloud but before you fold up the paper and put it in the hat you have to write your initials or name on the back. (hehehe) The person next to you draws from the hat, has 1 minute to guess what it is and say it to everyone. There is a catch though, , you have to be tickled lightly by the person that wrote out the word while you are trying to say it. If you don't get it you have to be tickled by that person for 1 minute. If you get it right and before your time is up YOU pick one person that you want and the 2 of you tickle the person that asked the word....... hahaha love this game!!!!

    TWISTER WITH A TICKLISH TWIST

The game is played the same with the plastic board on the ground. You have someone who can man/woman the timer. You have let say 3 and 3. Each person that plays has one person per player. Others can sit around watch. If you spin and have to put a part of the body on a color and u run out of time while trying to slither your way into that position you have to let the person who is assigned to you, tickle your foot for 1 minute while the others watch. If the others who are in the game playing start to laugh and lose there place it's a free for ALL............
