Event Hosting Information

We often hear folks stating that they wished there was an event closer to them so that it would be easier for them to attend.  Hosting your own event is a very real possibility for many people.  It takes a little bit of work and communication.  But, it's NOT impossible.  Munches and socials are pretty easy to pull off, without much work involved.  Play parties are a bit more involved, but can still be done easily enough if you take a bit of time to plan.  Most of the gatherings here started when someone said that they wanted to have something for tickle fans in their own area.  It doesn't have to be anything fancy or huge.  Most start with just a handful of folks getting together to gab about tickling.  Little by little, people hear about them and join in the fun.  Before you know it, word spreads and you have a well-established event going.

Not sure you're ready to host an actual play party yet?  That's okay.  You can get your feet wet by hosting a munch or social first.  This can help you to be more confident down the road.  It also has the added benefit of bringing attention to your area/event so that others will be watching for announcements about upcoming events.  You'll likely find that some folks are more willing to help out once you've had a chance to get to know one another a bit as well.

What follows are some basic ideas and information to help get things rolling.  If you have additional questions or concerns, contacting any of the more established hosts will generally bring you all the help and support you need.
